Air Pollution Controls

Unit 1: One ESP (Research-Cottrell hot side type) installed on: One coal/No. 2 oil/on-spec used No. 2 oil-fired electric utility boiler (1,266 mmBtu/hr heat input) Equipped with low-NOx burner system, and Separated secondary air staging system (SAS) for NOx reduction;

Unit 2: One ESP (Buell hot side type) installed on: One coal/No. 2 oil/on-spec used No. 2 oil-fired electric utility boiler (1,273 mmBtu/hr heat input) Equipped with low-NOx burner system;

Unit 3: Two ESPs (Environmental Elements cold side type) installed in parallel on: One coal/No. 2 oil/on-spec used No. 2 oil-fired electric utility boiler (4,484 mmBtu/hr heat input) Equipped with low-NOx burner system, and Mobotec Rotating Over Fire Air System (2nd ref.), and Rotamix ammonia/urea injection system for NOx reduction.

Units IC-1, IC-2A, and IC-2B: Three No. 2 oil/NG-fired internal combustion turbines rated at 268, 477, and 477 mmBtu/hr, respectively.
